JUST MY THOUGHTS...(17)

JUST MY THOUGHTS...(17)

TIRED FROM WORKING LAST NIGHT TILL THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING...THEN SAW MY FAMILY'S LOVELY FACES....LOOK AT YOUR KIDS AND YOUR PARTNER, YOUR LOVED ONES...MAKE THEM THE SUNSHINE OR THE SOURCES OF THE SUNSHINE IN YOUR LIFE....TO BATTLE AND SCARE THE BLUES AWAY...AND MAKE YOU GO ON FIGHTING TO GIVE THEM A GOOD LIFE. GOOD MORNING GUYS! MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS YOU WITH A FAN

TASTIC DAY!

Watching the news, I heard a 33 year old woman who suffered a Spinal Cord Injury say this after being helped by a woman financially..."Thank you and thank God for loving me!" To everyone who has ever helped me and my family in whatever way...THANK YOU AND I THANK GOD FOR PUTTING YOU INTO OUR LIVES! YOU ARE HIS INSTRUMENTS AND THROUGH YOU, HE HAS SHOWN US HIS LOVE!"

Although it is always painful when we are hurt by others, esp. by friends or loved ones...no pain is more terrible...than the pain that we have inflicted on others...and no tears more unbearable..than those we ourselves have caused.

THE BEST WAY TO GET THE LAST WORD....IS TO APOLOGIZE! TRY IT, IT ALWAYS WORKS! IT ALSO MAKES FOR A BETTER RELATIONSHIP WITH FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS, WITH KIDS AND WITH YOUR PARTNERS. THAT ONE WORD ALONE, MAY SHOW HUMILITY, RESPECT FOR ANOTHER, AND EVEN...LOVE! "SORRY"...IT ISN'T REALLY THAT HARD TO SAY.

When you feel that a dear friend has hurt you, has been indifferent to you, or has disappointed you in any way....think of the times he's made you feel good when you really needed someone to talk to...think of all his concern and his help....these acts of kindness, you can never repay and should never forget....so at the end of the day, consider yourself fortunate to have such a great friend!

Whatever you think you've done, no matter how grave your sins are...don't be afraid to go back to Him...Pray even harder...Our Lord forgives and forgets the sin, but He never forgets the sinner, and He never stops loving him.

Attended one Saturday afternoon Mass at SJCS, it was in Chinese and celebrated by our principal Father Bernard. I had a hard time feeling it at first...then I closed my eyes, listened with my heart, remembering the English equivalent, and my Chinese lessons...then I realized that, Chinese, English or Tagalog...it was the same Jesus offering His Body and His Blood and His Love for me. It was a great Mass.

To those who have criticized the Bible as "old", "out of sync with the modern times", something written for a whole different generation of people...this is what I can say...The Bible is a living book, applicable to everyone, for all time...it does not need to be rewritten, it however, needs to be reread, understood and taken to heart.

IF YOU WOULD HAVE HONOR, THEN HAVE HONOR ALL THE TIME, EVEN WHEN AT YOUR DARKEST AND MOST TRYING MOMENTS...ACT WITH HONOR AND DIGNITY. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT "THE END SHOULD NEVER JUSTIFY THE MEANS".
