Everybody admires brilliant people, hence the numerous fans of both
Enrile ( The real superstar) and Cuevas, who have both remained humble and
well-mannered.....but we all hate arrogant , loud and boorish people.
Some will say that brilliant people have a right to be arrogant and noisy and even insulting....I disagree!
Nobody has the right to malign and belittle another person, just because their views aren't the same,
and just because she thinks she's smarter than them. I am sure
there are so many more people smarter than Miriam Santiago, but they
have remained down to earth and unassuming.....these are the people that
should be admired, because their brilliance have been matched with
humility.
In yesterday's closing arguments, she was seething,
she was venomous, she made it seem like, anyone who disagreed or
disagrees her, is either stupid, a hypocrite or a stooge, then she
walked out.......once again, giving proof that intelligence does not
equal good manners. I believe she was on the verge of a breakdown!!!
A reminder to everyone, esp. to friends....be careful who you profess
to admire....because it says a lot about what you stand for, what you
believe in and, even more importantly...on who you are!
