If we are to believe in Miriam Santiago then no one, in any court, in
any country, has a right to convict anyone of any crime...because truly,
not a single judge, not any one of us, is sinless.......but for that
one day, the senator judges were tasked to decide on whether a
particular man is guilty or not.....yun lang yun.....and we can set
aside the drama!!
Again if I am to believe Miriam Santiago, then we are hopeless, we are all thieves, we are all liars, we are all stupid.....and our country is doomed!!!
Well I choose to believe that Filipinos are honest, brilliant and
hardworking....nasisira lang ng mangilan-ngilang politiko na walang
konsiyensiya at sobrang yabang at nagmamagaling......but I still choose
to believe that with God on our side...we will strive, we will struggle,
we will survive....
and I still choose to hope for a better
tomorrow, devoid of the likes of Miriam Santiago na wala na palang bilib
Miriam's version of the Philippines and the overwhelming majority of the Filipinos right now, who believes that Corona should be removed...is that we are a bunch of hypocrites, low lives, ignorant and stupid fools and that we will all end up in the gutter pretty soon.....do you believe this?....because of one person's conviction...you cast doubts on all of our hopes and futures.
Whatever the decision was or
could've been, the proper Christian thing to do was to hope and pray for
a better tomorrow...not to predict doom!
So this again, involves one's state of mind.....the common question currently is....Do you believe Corona's conviction was right and is therefore good for the country...or do you believe it is an act of injustice and may lead to our impending doom?.......I think the more important question is....do you believe in hope, do you believe in our future, do you believe in the Filipinos, do you believe in a loving God?
Ako....again, I choose to believe that I live and will continue to live in a country where the people are honest, hardworking and prayerful....all key ingredients for God's continued blessings....and I am not going to let one conviction, and certainly not one person who thinks so highly of herself, destroy that belief!
I know God will provide, I know God will take care of us! I know God loves us!
God bless all of us!
