ON CENSORSHIP.....

I am extremely saddened to hear songs with bad words or cuss words on the radio....there should be censorship there, for our kids.....

Let me be clear...I abhor or hate censorship when it comes to adults----be it audio, video and reading materials....I believe it is our right as adults to choose what we want to listen to, watch, or read....

But I strongly believe in censorship and the government taking a direct and strong hand in it, when it comes to our kids....I know it is our duty as parents to supervise everything our kids do....but if the government truly believes that the youth are our best chances for a better tomorrow, then they have to take a more direct hand in ensuring that they grow up well.

You hear disc jockeys making lewd remarks and green jokes on the radio and you have kids riding the jeepneys and the buses hearing and laughing at these lewd jokes.

Yung ibang artista or disc jockey , galit pa pag nasisita....may mukha pang sabihin na hindi nila responsibilidad ang mga anak natin.....the big question is why decent and morally upright people would listen to these disc jockeys and watch these artists or tv hosts.

The fascination that a lot of people have for this particular personality on radio who is brash and arrogant have always surprised me...people have mistaken his being quick on the jokes and having an easy command of the English language as wit and intelligence.....I personally think he is emotionally and even mentally inept...and most definitely, morally-severely inadequate.

Even in malls or restaurants, they would play cds with the F word in it.

We all have a responsibility...this is not limited to the parents.

We're not prudes, but this is wrong, esp. in a Catholic / Christian country.

Right is always right and wrong is always wrong....popularity should have no say in this!
