A MODERN PARENT'S PRAYER

A Modern Parent’s Prayer

Lord....in these trying times when our children may be influenced by several factors....

remind us, that we are still the best models for our children

and enlighten us to strengthen resolve and our principles

and make us a beacon of light that will guide our children towards the right path.

Make us wiser Oh Lord, to know when to interject ourselves into our children’s problems

And when to let go and allow them to fix their problems on their own,

allowing them to learn from the experience,

and to grow stronger from the pain and the sorrow.

Make us realize that no matter how old our children become ,

they will always need us ,

and strengthen  us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually,

so that whenever they need us, we will be there for them.

In return our Lord, we promise to raise them up according to Your laws and Your teachings,

 the greatest among these, is Love,

 Love for You and love for one another.

We thank you Lord for entrusting us with the most precious gifts ever....our lovely children.

Please protect them from all forms of hurt and harm.

Be with them and guide them in every facet of their lives.
