FIRST DAY OF THE CAMPAIGN PERIOD....TALAGA?

According to the Newspaper headlines (February 12)...today is the start of the campaign period for the 2013 Senatorial and local elections.....really?...and what has Team PNoy and UNA been airing on tv...why have Cynthia Villar, Cayetano, JV Ejercito, Zubiri, Jack Enrile made their respective commercials....wala lang, gusto lang makita sa tv?

You look at the candidates and it's the same group of people...yung iba, different faces, but the same names...kasi nga kamag-anak.

Team Pinoy (PNoy) cannot say they abhor political dynasties, because in their team, you have a son, a brother and a wife of current senators...you even have the nephew of the President.

Sa UNA, you have the son of a disgraced former president, the son of the Senate President and the daughter of the Vice President....You even have one who apparently benefited from election tampering, but claims he knew nothing about it...you also have one who was the staunchest defender of the former president, accused of plunder and cheating.

The president wants his party to win so that he can continue with his "Matuwid na Daan" but includes in his party people ( or their realtives) who's record on graft and corruption, he once questioned during the presidential elections.

The UNA continues to boasts about the BIG 3 leading their group...sino ba itong big 3 na ito?
(1) The Vice President who's ticket to fame was President Cory Aquino who made him the OIC of Makati....till he bacame mayor..a position he held on and passed on to his wife and now to his son, it's a position they continue to own....
para bang walang karapatan ang iba maging mayor sa Makati kundi sila lamang.
(2) The Senate President who recently became famous again because of his expert handling of the Impeachment against Corona,
but recently became infamous again for giving 1.6 million to his Senate colleagues amidst an impoverished nation, who needed the money more.....
He once claimed that his ambush was fake to trigger the installation of Martial Law...but in his book he now says the ambush is real.....
how can we trust this guy?
(3) A disgraced former president....the first, and so far, only convicted president, of plunder.
He gets pardoned, and he claims he didn't ask for it, but he accepts it.....then he continued to attack the person who gave him the pardon...I am not a fan of GMA, but when someone does something big for me, and I accept it...at least I will show some gratitude and good manners, and not attack her character anymore....."utang ng loob" ang tawag dun....
tapos I distinctly remember his pardon includes a condition that says...he is not allowed to participate in any electoral exercise...yet he ran again for the presidency and now will run to become mayor of Manila....kasi his mistress is now Mayor of the town he used to live in, I guess it's not enough na hari sila ng isang city.......
So this guy was convicted of a crime, he accepts pardon for it....he continues to say bad things about the person who gave him the pardon...he violates the rules of the pardon....and he is trustworthy?
This is the Big 3 of UNA?

I urge the voters....use simple common sense....how long have this people served us....the people I've alluded to, and those who are running for the umpteenth time.....has their been significant progress in your lives...kung wala...then why trust their words and vote for them again......mas mabuti if we vote for the new candidates...people who's name are new to us....people we don't know that well.

We want change...let's start by voting for different people...it's a gamble worth taking.
