Like everyone, I wish I can leave some earthly possessions to my children, when I pass away, like a business or a fat bank account...something they can use to have a better life....
But whether or not that will occur, I will be sure to leave them with these thoughts and reminders.......
I will tell them to value their education.....it will give them confi
dence and no one can ever take it away from them.
I will tell them to always work hard.
I will tell them to have absolute dedication to the matter or the job at hand.
I will tell them to use God's gifts to make their lives better,
and to ultimately make the lives of other people better.
I will tell them to help, help, and help, because it really is better to give than to receive.
I will tell them to be honest at all times.
I will tell them never to compromise their principles and their dignity...for any reason....and at any price.
I will tell them to be respectful of everyone, esp. the elderly, so that they too will be worthy of respect.
I will tell them to always be humble and never forget every person who has ever done anything good to them....no matter how small.
I will tell them to find a person that they will love with all their hearts, and to be faithful and respectful to this person, for every second of their lives.
I will tell them to love and respect their kids no matter what, and be good examples to them.
Then finally, I will speak to them about our Lord.....
I will tell them to enrich their faith by going to Mass as often as often as they can.
I will tell them to pray each night and to praise Him and be thankful to the Lord...for everything they will ever achieve, even if they work the hardest....will always be because of God's glory.
I will tell them about the kindness, the loyalty and the love of our God, and remind them, that with HIM, nothing is impossible!
This will be a job well done for me...and I could leave this world with a smile.
