MAYNILAD AND MWSS - JUST A WONDERFUL TEAM - IF YOU'RE NOT A CONSUMER.
Since Saturday, our Barangay, Barangay Sto. Nino has had no water from 12 midnight to 4 a.m.....
Last night, by 10 p.m. we had no water anymore and again it lasted till 4 a.m.
I call up Maynilad, our water provider every night, and the answer given had always been "leak repairs".

I call up Maynilad, our water provider every night, and the answer given had always been "leak repairs".
I say okay, but I complain that we are never
informed. I asked for further details and none could be given except for that night .....
So tonight I call up Maynilad again....now they give me a schedule....
For 2 more days, until Friday, it's 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. and 11 p.m. until 12:25 noon of Saturday, so more than 12 hours of no water...
and still if I hadn't called them up, I would not have been informed and we would not store water....
This is the service we get....
and I bet that when the water bill comes it will be the same if not even higher than the previous ones when there were no water interruptions....
So my question to Maylnilad is this.....
Is it really the consumer's job to call you and ask for information regarding water shortages...or is it not your job to inform us before hand of such things....and don't lie and say you are informing us, because I read the Philippine Daily Inquirer and the Philippine Star and we watch the news on TV, and there have been no updates.....
So do we really have to call every time?
For MWSS, your main existence, I believe, is to be the governing body that handles all the water service providers....is this the excellent job that you claim you have been doing?....
You with the exorbitant salaries......
Just for the information of everyone, during GMA's time, an MWSS driver earns 97,000 pesos a month, with hazard pay, a housing and a car plan...that's the driver, wonder what the clerks, the supervisors, the managers and of course, the members of the Board of Directors earn.....
This is a poor country and this people have deemed it proper that they be paid this much, using tax payer's money....using our money!...
Right now the MWSS workers are up in arms because their salaries have been reduced...the driver now gets a salary of 37,000 thousand a month....still much a higher than what a normal government employee gets.....
I would have no problem with this, if they paid every teacher and soldier 50,000 pesos a month.....
Simple question, without wanting to discriminate or belittle anyone....what do you think is the harder and more important job....a driver for MWSS or a teacher that will train our future leaders?
So thanks to both Maynilad and MWSS we will have no water again for the next few days and the mentioned hours.....wonderful service for Maynilad and excellent, top-notch job from MWSS isn't it?
