Saying "Goodmorning!",
"Thank You!", showing respect giving courtesy...doing these things
will cost you nothing....but then you get a beautiful smile, a nod of
appreciation from a tired employee, and sometimes you even earn a new
friend....now these, you can't buy...they are priceless!
One can never really describe what
one feels for his children...sometimes they disappoint you, sometimes they
anger you...but then you remember their first smile, the times they brought you
a cup of tea, the time they hugged you when you really needed it...then you
realized, that they are just the most precious things, and you can't live
without them.
I've sometimes been accused of
spoiling my children, by spending too much time with them, but this is my
answer....you can only spoil your children with too much PRESENTS, never with
your constant PRESENCE. In fact, your children can never, and will never, have
enough of your PRESENCE. So spend every free time with them, and MAKE TIME for
them.
I have three children, and I
consider raising them well, as my greatest mission ever, but over the years and
after some difficulties, I've discovered something...there is no perfect way,
no magic formula, no manual of instructions-on how to raise our kids...there is
only LOVE, PURE, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
REAL HAPPINESS DOES NOT COME FROM
THE ACQUISITION OF EXPENSIVE THINGS, OR FROM HEARING PRAISES FROM OTHER
PEOPLE....TRUE HAPPINESS COMES FROM BEING WITH FAMILY, DOING SOMETHING
WORTHWHILE, AND AFFECTING THE LIVES OF OTHER PEOPLE IN A POSITIVE MANNER, AND
BRINGING THEM CLOSER TO GOD.
Great lessons we can teach our
children.... to pray with sincerity, to have faith in the Lord esp. in the
midst of difficulties and when the doubts come in, and to base their hope in
the belief of a loving God who sacrificed His own son for all of us.
