THOUGHTS….JUST MY THOUGHTS

When you're so hurt, and feel that your sacrifices have gone unnoticed, and you're put in a bad light....just pray even harder...then do everything all over again....it will mean something to those you love and to those who really love you unconditionally....your children and GOD.

Even when the day seemed so bad, and people let you down and people feel that you've let them down as well....when it's so difficult to think of nice things....think of how you first met your wife...think of your children and their smiles....it is still a wonderful world!

 When your day couldn't get worse, and you start questioning God...think of Japan...and you're going to feel embarrassed, for not feeling blessed and not being thankful instead. God bless the people of Japan, and God bless all of us!

 Kahit nasaktan ka, at parang may sugat sa pusong hirap maghilom...magpasalamat pa rin sa Panginoon dahil sa lahat ng biyayang natatanggap, at umasang 'di ka Niya pababayaan, basta't manalangin sa Kanya, at gumawa ng kabutihan sa kapwa.

 IF YOU WOKE UP WITH A HEAVY HEART. THEN SPEND THE FIRST FEW MINUTES OF YOUR MORNING PRAYING. PRAY AND HOPE FOR A DAY FULL OF PEACE, LOVE AND BLESSINGS. THEN KISS AND HUG YOUR KIDS AND FEEL THEIR LOVE...IT'S THE BEST PANACEA OR CURE FOR DEPRESSION. GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

 You may not become the most successful businessman, you may not become a famous star, you may not be able to discover the cure for anything, you may not be able to eradicate discrimination and war...you may never become anyone people will talk about...but there is one, more important goal, that should take priority...and that is becoming an effective and loving parent!

 When you start becoming impatient with your children, just think of how patient God our Father has been with us....Again love your children and make them feel and know it, regardless of what they've done, and even more when they don't seem to deserve it. This is what I always text my kids..."I LOVE YOU, NO MATTER WHAT."
 DON'T TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY, BUT DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR WIFE SERIOUSLY ENOUGH. THE FIRST ONE PREVENTS DEPRESSION, THE SECOND PREVENTS DISAGREEMENTS, AND MAKES HER FEEL IMPORTANT.

 HOPE IS SUCH A POWERFUL DRUG....THERE IS NO BETTER TONIC FOR DEPRESSION...NO FASTER CURE FOR AN AILING HEART............THAN THE EXPECTATION OF A BETTER TOMORROW!

 When you love someone, truly love someone...it shouldn't be because of her beauty, it shouldn't be because of her goodness, it shouldn't be because of her intelligence, it shouldn't be because of anything else, but ...it'll be hard to explain...but it should be because of love only, unexplainable, unadulterated and unconditional love.

 WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE, IT PAYS TO BE AN ABSOLUTE SPENDTHRIFT....SO GIVE IT AWAY, GIVE ALL OF IT AWAY...TOMORROW WHEN YOU WAKE UP, YOU'LL BE SURPRISED TO FIND OUT THAT YOU HAVE EVEN MORE.

Throughout our Lord's mortal life, He was always nearer those who seemed broken. The physically broken like the blind, the deaf, the cripple, the leper, the possessed....and those broken in spirit like the poor, the prostitute, the tax collectors. Through these broken people we saw the brilliance of God's love. He healed them physically, forgave their sins and lifted their spirits.

 What is a home with expensive trappings, where prayer is not encouraged and taken seriously, and faith not nurtured? It's a big house where daily bread feeds the body and expensive things provide pleasure, but the soul is not fed and the spirit remains hungry.

 I am a father, and this is what I've always wanted to be... So it pains me when I can't give them the expensive pleasures other kids have...I can only give them time, love and presence...I'm fortunate, because it seems to be all that they need...and when they smile and laugh because of the simple things I may have done...I feel like the greatest man, loving what he does and doing what he loves.
