Sometimes when we hear PAGASA report a super typhoon coming, we pray..."Lord please lead the typhoon to a different direction...very often, the typhoon still comes, with it's strong winds and retains it's route....but we and our loved ones are left unhurt....you see... He listens and He proves that, indeed,we are under His protection!

 
Sometimes we feel that our parents are not proud of us...it's just the most terrible feeling...So let's  make a promise to ourselves...that we would never make our kids feel that they've embarrassed us....despite the occasional failures and disappointments and disobedience that will come, we will never make them forget that they are the best gifts we've ever received from the Lord, and that we will always be thankful, that we will always be proud of them, and that we will always love them!




ALWAYS SAY PLEASE, EXCUSE ME, THANK YOU...IT IS NOT ONLY A SIGN OF HUMILITY...IT IS NOT ONLY A SIGN OF COURTESY...BUT IT MAKES PEOPLE SEE HOW WELL EDUCATED YOU ARE... AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, HOW WELL YOU WERE BROUGHT UP.

 
When my ulcers work overtime due to stress and daunting pressure...I look at my kids...then I disregard the ulcers... I go one fighting...then I pray!

 
A HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW, IT WON'T MATTER WHAT CAR YOU BOUGHT, IT WON'T MATTER WHAT LUXURIES YOU HAD...WHAT WILL MATTER HOWEVER IS HOW DEEPLY YOU'VE LOVED SOMEONE, HOW YOU'VE RAISED YOUR KIDS...MOST OF ALL WHAT WILL MATTER AN ETERNITY IS THAT YOU 'VE COMMITTED YOURSELF TO THE LORD.

 

IT IS EASY TO SEE THE MISTAKES OF YOUR PARTNER, ESP. WHEN YOU ARE BESIEGED WITH SO MANY PROBLEMS ....IT IS HOWEVER A DIVINE GIFT TO BE ABLE TO LOOK FOR THE GOOD QUALITIES IN YOUR PARTNER, ESP. THOSE THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW THEY POSSESS. IT'LL EVEN MAKE YOU LOVE YOUR PARTNER MORE.

Knowledge about God, His words and His love, even without a college degree is infinitely more valuable than having several master's degrees yet being ignorant about your Creator and His love.

THEY SAY, "THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE!" WRONG! THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE TO HAVE THE LOVE, RESPECT AND TRUST OF THOSE YOU LOVE....AND THESE DO NOT COME FOR FREE, NOR DO THEY COME EASY...YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR IT, YOU HAVE TO BE WORTHY!
