I've heard this said by a lot of people come election time..."Iboto natin yung mayaman na, para di na magnakaw." (Let's vote for those who are already rich, they will not steal anymore.) I guess the logic is...the inclination to steal may be less, if you already have so much...but when exactly is enough, when it comes to money and when it comes to those people?

How many of the elected officials now were poor before they got elected? It cost a lot to run a campaign....so better logic will tell you that most of those who win elections have money....and what did they do after winning?

This presumption has no leg to stand on....and this was spread by the very rich politicians, so that we will vote for them....KALOKOHAN ITO!!!

Better logic dictates that when a businessman or a businesswoman runs and spends a lot of money in his or her campaign....he or she will do everything to get her investment back...and then make profit...syempre kailangan may tubo!!!

What is even more obvious is that these business minded politicians will side with the businessman against the ordinary people...

Look at these congresswoman now running for the senate....she sided with the owners of 23 Nursing Schools with a below than average passing mark in the boards, kasi nag-invest na raw ng pera.....how about the parents who worked hard to earn money to send their children to those nursing schools...tapos babagsak lang sa board.....di ba mas nakaka-awa sila....and this is not an isolated case...CHED wanted those schools closed because of their abysmal track record when it came to the board exams.....but these congresswoman and her cohorts sided with the owners, and upon questioning recently, had the gall or rather the ignorance to say..."Hindi naman kailangan maging BSN (BS Nursing) at di naman kailangan maging magaling para magtrabaho abroad."

She says she had no time to prepare an answer....I need a senator who can think fast...not someone who waits for her adviser to tell her what to say or do.

Perhaps as she herself has proclaimed, she has helped a lot of people...then I pray that she continues to do so...but not as a Senator or as a Congresswoman....someone who thinks this way, should not be making laws.

This was the comment made by a nurse upon hearing her answer...." Ang Nurses di puedeng walang laman ang utak...parang Senator, di rin puedeng walang laman ang utak."....HINDI AKO ANG MAY SABI NITO, PERO ITO ANG HINDI KALOKOHAN!!!
