GOD BLESS YOU SO MUCH

Each school day when I and my wife bring the kids to school, we always have a small problem, once we reach Lizzie’s classroom….
she would always have a hard time letting us go. 
We wait for one of her teachers to come, then, before we actually leave her, we would go through a series of kisses, hugs and sweet words to each other….
sometimes we would have a serious talk about it, sometimes we would even scold her a little, as everyone, including her teachers and classmates would be looking at us as we go through this daily ritual…..
But it is actually hard to scold her, because you know she’s very emotionally involved, and because of what she says….

Just before we really leave her, she says….”I love you so much ! God bless you so much!

At first, we thought she was getting mixed up with “I love you so much” and “God bless you”, because I have never heard anyone say, “God bless you so much.”…
but then, we spoke to her about it and she says…
she really wants God to bless us so much.

I’ve always felt good when people say “God bless” to me…
but it even feels better when it’s your own child saying it…..
and it becomes doubly powerful and heartfelt when she says it with so much feeling and sincerity
and doesn’t stop with a mere “God bless!” ,
but says “God bless you so much Daddy!” …..
truly, life is so much more wonderful because of our children!
