OUR GOOD FRIDAY....

Our Good Friday.....

WE just came from attending the Good Friday Mass and from the Veneration of The Cross....we just started doing this 4 years ago...when we asked for my wife's healing...we will continue doing it as long as we are able.....then after attending the Mass, we proceeded to do something we've also done for the past 4 years....we went to visit our great friends and had coffee and bread....4 years ago after being informed of my wife's condition, outside our family, these 2 persons were the first one I informed....on that Good Friday, 4 years ago, before my wife's surgery, I went to them, because I needed a friend to talk to...they listened, they gave us prayers and I know they prayed for us....today, although we seldom touch base, I still regard them as among my greatest friends...........So from 4 years ago...our Good Friday has been about....remembering that Christ died so that we may be saved....it has also been about acknowledging that it was truly Christ who healed my wife....it has also been about a chance to spend quality time with the best of friends....most of all...it has been about believing that everything that has happened, has happened...because of my Savior who loves us and will always love us, even when we don't deserve it............again, wherever you are...whatever you are doing....take the time to reflect and pray!

 

Our Holy Thursday..... 

For the past 3 years, my wife has sang as cantor for the Holy Thursday Mass in our parish....this year was no different, I wanted to take a video of her, but she said no.....I believe she did not want credit for herself...as she was doing it to praise the Lord and to get praise for the Lord...and once again, she did it beautifully, less powerful, but more solemn and just as heartfelt....it was for a loving Master who was responsible for her healing and for everything else that we have. All glory and honor to Our Savior.
